A working conference on security in healthcare information systems

The working group of the International Medical Informatics Association on
security in healthcare information systems cordially invites interested
parties to participate.
The themes are:
- Telecommunications and wireless technologies;
- Ethics and laws for electronic healthcare in telemedicine;
- Long-term data preservation and intelligibility; and
- Security of community-wide healthcare records.
Three discussion groups will deal with recommendations for:
- research and development;
- governance and policies; and
- ethico-legal proposalsin relation to the four themes.
