Bridging the Gap - Fifth National Casemix Conference

The NHS Information Authority (Casemix Programme) will be holding its fifth two day conference on 12 th and 13 th September 2000 at the Bristol Marriott Hotel. The theme of the conference aims to demonstrate how information can serve to bridge the gap between the clinical and managerial agendas relating to improving the cost-effectiveness of health care.

The NHS Information Authority (Casemix Programme) invites health professionals, managers, clinicians, suppliers and consumers in both the NHS and the private sector to submit papers and posters for presentation at this 2 day conference. The sessions will deal with the use of casemix across all health sectors.

The sessions themes include:

• Clinical Effectiveness
• Improving performance
• Commissioning appropriate care to meet our health needs
