EHFG2002: 5th European Health Forum Gastein

Selected core issues in European health policy to be addressed at the EHFG 2002 include the future of European health systems, quality of health care, inequalities in health, nutrition and food policy and public health research within the 6th EC Research Framework Programme.

These issues will be addressed in plenary and parallel forum sessions of which two will be hosted by the European Commission. The European Observatory on Health Care Systems, the World Bank, and the European Investment Bank will organise a number of workshops on health and financing issues. Other workshops will address cross border care, social dialogue in the hspital sector and food policy.
