Would you like to follow more closely the scientific
literature in your area but is always lacking the time or the discipline to
do it? Do you feel that you are not keeping up to date and that it is
increasingly difficult to select what papers to read? Or are you studying
health informatics for the first time and needs an in-depth survey of the
recent literature?
Then this course is right for you. With a minimal
investment of time, effort and cost, you will be able to read every week the
most important and recent paper, which will be selected and commented by a
recognized international expert in the field. An online forum, daily news,
selected Web resources and additional readings will enhance your learning
experience.
Upon completing the semester's requirements, you will
get 30 continued education (CME) credit hours and a certificate by a
recognized educational institution.
The tutor is Professor Renato M.E. Sabbatini, PhD,
chairman of Medical Informatics and director of the Center for Biomedical
Informatics of the State University of Campinas, a senior researcher and
lecturer with more than 30 years of experience in the field.
