Research studentships
in consumer health informatics at Plymouth university
The University of Plymouth is offering a
total of 20 Scholarships across all disciplines for students who intend to
undertake a full time research degree at MPhil/PhD level. Scholarships are
open to those students who intend to commence their research degrees in

possible areas of research.
These include:
- the information needs of patients with
cancer;
- computer support in multiple sclerosis;
- the information needs of patients in
primary care;
- education after brain injury;
- patient education using interactive TV;
- virtual support (diabetes, people with
learning disabilities, rural settings);
- patient access to health records;
- practice nurse-delivered CBT for anxiety
and depression.
The scholarships will cover UK/EU tuition
fees and a maintenance allowance of £9,000 and are available for up to 3
years.
