The Ninth European Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Medicine —
call for papers

The AIME03 conference will be a unique
opportunity to present and improve the international state of the art of
AI in medicine from both a research and an applications perspective. For
this purpose, AIME03 will include invited lectures, contributed papers,
system demonstrations, tutorials, and workshops.
Original contributions are sought regarding
the development of theory, techniques, and applications of AI in medicine,
including the evaluation of healthcare programmes.
Papers should not exceed 5000 words, or a
maximum of 10 pages, and should be formatted according to Springer's LNCS
format (see www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html
).
Authors are strongly encouraged to submit
the papers electronically, following the instructions provided in the
conference web page.
All accepted papers will appear in the
conference proceedings which will be published as part of Springer's Lecture
Notes in AI series. In addition, the authors of the best submissions
will be invited to expand and refine their papers for possible publication
in the journal Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (Elsevier).
