Brokerage events for Russian and European researchers

We would like to announce two new brokerage events for European and Russian researchers in the series of events we organise under the EC projects ADMIRE-P and SITE:

We will be bringing teams of Russian researchers to the EVA Florence 2005 Conference and Med-e-Tel 2005 Conference and Exhibition. The researchers will be describing their R&D achievements in areas of e-culture, multimedia, electronic imaging, visual art, cultural heritage as well as eHealth, telemedicine, information and communication technologies with medical applications. They will also be wanting to meet EU researchers to discuss potential collaboration under the Information Society Technologies (IST) priority for both Framework Programmes Six and Seven.

Information on the expertise and project ideas of approximately 80 Russian research teams working in the conferences' thematic areas, will be available at the Russian exhibition stands at the events.

EVA — Electronic Imaging and the Virtual Arts — will be held in Florence, Italy on March 14–18, 2005. It will include presentations of new research projects funded by the European Commission's IST priority, as well as case studies and the use of virtual reality in cultural applications: http://lci.det.unifi.it/
