International Journal of Medical Sciences launched

Announcement of the launch of the International Journal of Medical Sciences www.medsci.org and call for papers:

International Journal of Medical Sciences (ISSN 1449-1907) is a new journal launched in late 2003 publishing peer-reviewed scientific papers of significance in all areas of medical sciences from basic research to clinical and experimental work. Papers in pathology, pharmacology, physiology, immunology, virology, genetic medicine, medical microbiology, biophysics, and medical informatics are welcomed as well as papers in all areas of internal medicine, clinical medicine, emergency medicine, epidemiology, neurology, radiology, gerontology, and healthcare research.

The Journal aims at establishing itself as the leading international journal in medical sciences. The Journal invites original research and review articles, important case reports and analysis, short research communications presenting novel research ideas and timely research finding, and reports of new drug development and clinical trials including phase I-III. It is available in both online version and print version. The online version is published bimonthly open access to the public to maximize the distribution of information. The print version is currently published in volume and is by subscription from Ivyspring International Publisher.

Authors should submit PDF, Word, or HTML version of their papers formatted in a convenient style for review process. Manuscripts should be formatted in single space only, font 11 points to 12 points, letter or A4 size. Efforts should be made to minimize the file size of transfer (especially images), as review is also done electronically. Authors should submit papers that have been carefully proofread and polished. Submissions should be done electronically to facilitate very rapid turnaround time that the Journal aims at.

Detailed submission instructions can be found in the Submission page of www.medsci.org
