Over fifteen years in Health Informatics. Independent consultancy since 1995, previously with suppliers. Previous posts included marketing and sales of clinical and administrative solutions to customers in the Scandinavian market.

Consultancy assignments have covered responsibility for the commercial aspects of MIE96 and setting up the exhibition for this conference, project management of a large PAS implementation and clinical systems development for laboratories and anaesthesia, director of the Danish daughter company of a large American supplier, due diligence investigations of various Scandinavian companies for possible acquisition, account manager for a number of Norwegian public health enterprises, mitigator in various legal disputes, responding to EU tenders for clients, assisting EFMI.

His strengths are in:

• an in-depth knowledge of health informatics on a tactical & strategic level, from operational healthcare delivery, with an informatics vendor & from a consultancy perspective
• solid human networking across health informatics in Europe
• extensive experience in the marketing and sales of solutions on a broad scale to the healthcare community
• good knowledge of the commercial running of HI supplier companies
• long experience in project management work within the HI sector
• a personal style, that gives confidence to politicians, other decision makers and staff at all levels.
