OpenClinical news

From Richard Thomson, Editor, OpenClinical

As you know,
one of the aims of OpenClinical is to provide a high quality information
service for members, with regular additions to the clinical knowledge
management resources on the site. Since our last News we have put up a
number of new
resources ,
including links to new demonstrations
of clinical
applications.
OpenClinical
has also initiated its programme of sponsored activities with two open workshops
planned for later this
year. The first, in collaboration with Stanford University, will discuss
current computer methods for capturing clinical guidelines and decision
support systems; the second, with the EU-funded Spirit project, will cover
Open Source medical knowledge.
Reactions to
the site continue to be very positive ( the British Medical Journal
was impressed by OpenClinical's collection of resources), and we are
rapidly recruiting new members from all over the world.
A number of
further services and
activities for
members are in preparation, as well as a major new project to create an
active OpenClinical community network.
You can
support OpenClinical by forwarding this email to your colleagues and by
letting us know (at open@openclinical.org)
about any project, product or service that you think other members may be
interested in.
Thanks for
your participation in the OpenClinical project.
