Healthcare IT Effectiveness Awards 2001
The Healthcare IT Effectiveness Awards publicly
acclaim the good work that healthcare and IT professionals do to improve the
efficiency of patient care. To enter, you must be working within the UK
healthcare sector. Prove to the judges that your system or process works —
that it helps everyone to do their job better, and in turn improves patient
care.
Projects may be submitted for consideration in
all or any of the following categories:
- Best use of IT in: primary and community care;
secondary care or; tertitary care
- Best example of technological innovation
- Best publicly accessible health related
information systems
- Best use of IT in laboratory and investigative
systems
Entry is FREE. Submissions must be received by
the Healthcare IT Effectiveness Awarding Consortium no later than 6 November
2000. The Awarding Consortium will meet in December to decide on the finalists
and choose the three overall winners — who will be presented with the judges'
awards for Best use of IT in the Health Service.
Finalists and their guests are invited to the
award ceremony held at HC2001, Harrogate, UK, in March 2001. Winning projects
will enjoy publicity at the event and appear in bjhc&im.
