Technical Committee for Health Informatics - European Committee for Standardization  

Standardization in the field of Health Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to achieve compatibility and interoperability between independent systems and to enable modularity. This includes requirements on health information structure to support clinical and administrative procedures, technical methods to support interoperable systems as well as requirements regarding safety, security and quality.

The work is carried out in the Working Groups mentioned below:

Normalisation dans le domaine de l’information de santé et des techniques de communication (TIC) pour aboutir à la compatibilité et à l’interopérabilité de systèmes indépendents et pour permettre leur modularité. Ceci implique la spécification des structures des systèmes d’informations qui soutiennent les procédures cliniques et administratives, des méthodes techniques sur lesquelles reposent l’interopérabilité des systèmes aussi bien que des spécifications dans les domains de la sécurité, de la sûreté e de la qualité.

“Normung auf dem Gebiet der Medizinischen Informatik und Komunikationstechnologie (ICT), um die Kompatibilität und Interoperabilität zwischen unabhängigen Systemen zu erreichen und für Modalitäten Modularität zu ermöglichen. Dies beinhaltet sowohl Anforderungen an die Struktur der Medizinischen Informatik Informationsstrukturen zur Unterstützung der klinischen und aministrativen Verfahren, technische Methoden zur Unterstützung interoperabler Systeme als auch Anforderungen an Datenschutz, Sicherheit und Qualitätssicherung.”
