Information and Management and the British
Computer Society's 1998 Fellow of the Year has
been awarded the 'Charles I and King Wenceslas
Medal' of Charles University in Prague, The Czech
Republic. Professor Richards was awarded the medal by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for sustained and exemplary services to medicine in the hospitals of Prague, and for his contribution to the understanding of medical informatics and his teaching at the 'EUROMISE Centre' in Prague. Professor Richards was giving the keynote lecture at the fifth anniversary of the EUROMISE Centre. |
