Collaboration for Critical Appraisal of Medical Information on the Internet

We propose a "bottom-up" rather than a "top-down" approach for quality evaluation on the Internet, that is to say - we don't call for a centralized body regulating or evaluating Internet information but we are proposing to use the existing PICS standard (Platform for Internet Content Selection) to distribute "labels" which describe and evaluate medical information on the web.
