Centre for Healthcare Telematics (CHT) Karolinska Institutet

CHT is a new centre at Karolinska Institutet for studies of the use of information and telecommunications technology - Telematics - in clinical practice and research.

The challenge is to improve patient care and knowledge development while protecting information security and ensuring efficient use of resources.

CHT activities:

• Research projects in collaboration with the network
• Training of students and healthcare professionals
• Standards development to ensure interoperability
