Health Informatics Europe (HIE) is a web-based journal published and edited by Dr Ahmad Risk

HIE is an official journal of the European Federation for Medical Informatics (EFMI)

The journal aims to deliver up-to-date and accurate information targeted at European health informatics professionals, healthcare IM&T managers, academics in the field of health informatics, healthcare managers in national government and the European Commission and the industry providing products and services in this field.

HIE was launched on 16 October 1998. The journal has a rolling format with no volume or issue number.  All the relevant pages have the date they were last updated displayed at the top of the page.

HIE welcomes all contributions from individuals and organisations. Please see the various sections where your contribution can be accommodated
